Obituary of Vera Hepburn

HEPBURN, Vera Ireneformerly of Wiarton at the Kelso Pines Retirement Residence in Owen Sound on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the Late Elgin Hepburn (1991). Dear mother of Wilmer 'Wil' Hepburn and his wife Betty of Wiarton. Special grandmother of 5, great grandmother of 10 and great great grandmother of 7. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Marie Greig of Keswick. Vera was predeceased by her daugther Muriel (1993), parents Mary (Thompson) and James Greig, brothers Ivan and Verdun Greig and sisters Reta Schultz, Hazel Stewart and Bernice Stewart.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1:00PM. Interment Colpoys Bay Cemetery. Donations made to St. John's United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
