Obituary of Paul Thompson

THOMPSON, PaulOutdoor enthusiast Paul Marshall Thompson of Berford Lake Road, Wiarton passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the age of 53. He will be forever remembered by his wife of 32 years, Lana Thompson (Carmichael). Loving father and the most cherished dad of Jodie (Margaret Chen), Tara (Matt Davis) and Chad (Kiersten Moore). Always remembered as Pipa Buck from grandson Blakey (where's bunny?). He will be sadly missed by his mom Rema Thompson of Aurora and brother Jeff Thompson of Aurora as well as co-workers, members and friends of Griffith Island. Paul was predeceased by his father Jimmy Thompson.Paul will be remembered for his green thumb, enthusiasm for hunting, fishing and most importantly spending time with his family. Forever missed, remembered and truly loved.In respect of Paul's wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Kettleby Cemetery, Kettleby, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Bruce Peninsula Sportsman's Club would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
