Vera Lavalley was Mrs. Lavalley to me she was my kindergarten teacher at Riverview School in Dryden Ontario. Peter and Vera were close friends of my parents Kit and Charlie Schmitt on Pitt Avenue. She was always kind and gentle...I loved her as a teacher and liked her at the table in our house playing cards and teaching us how to play. Peter fished avidly w my dad and we did a lot of ice fishing. Good people. I have fond memories. RIP Mrs. L
