Obituary of Mary Evelyn Hardman

Peacefully at Lion's Head on February 14, 2016. Evelyn 'Evie' Hardman (nee Greig) of Lion's Head, and formerly of Wiarton, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Oliver Hardman of Wiarton; cherished mother of Judy Campbell and her husband Mervyn of Cambridge and William Hardman and his partner Rita of Burnaby, B.C. Loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Florence Lemcke of Owen Sound, Katie Govier (Ken) of Barrow Bay and sister-in-law Carol Hardman of Port Colborne, B.C. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Eliza (Graham) and Robert Greig, brothers Bruce, Melvin (Nellie), Frank (Iris) and Jim (Jennie), sister Janet (Ivor Bridge) and brothers-in-law Bill (Rose) Hardman, Ted (Elda) Hardman, Ron Hardman and Ivan Lemcke. The funeral service will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Order of the Eastern Star Georgian Chapter #186 will conduct a service on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Expressions of remembrance to Golden Dawn Nursing Home or Bruce Peninsula Hospice would be appreciated.
