Our thought and prayers are with you Jo, Marty, and Marsha, as well as with your families, and all of Nelson's loved ones. We can't tell you how shocked, and sorry, we were to hear of Nelson's passing. We spent many hours reminising about all the laughs and good times we shared with Nelson. He was so kind and patient with us, and with Daniel when we brought him to visit the horses (he still remembers!). We count being given the opportunity to know and spend time with Nelson as one of the many blessings of our lives.
We will be sure to get up to Lion's Head early this summer to give you all our condolences in person.

Thinking of you Joe, Marsha, and Marty (and families) today, what a lot of great memories I have of Nelson. Northstar hockey as one of many, as dad an Nels ran the clock and he always came in the room to share his thoughts of the game, even if I didn't play net that game. He was a great guy, when he laughed you knew he was not very far away, and there was a story that was told. I think right now he is enjoying one of Dorothy's turkey on a bun. We were very saddened to hear about Nelson. Our most sincere sympathies to all of his beloved family. Nelson has cleared the driveways of snow for our community for the past couple of years and we will miss him. He had a great sense of humour which we enjoyed and we loved it when he stopped by to chat while having a small break. He worked diligently for us.

From the first time I met Nelson, he treated me like family (as you all did). Whenever I saw him, he always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to make me feel welcome.
