Obituary of Sandra "Sandy" Louise Dorsch

DORSCH, Sandra Louise at Summit Place Retirement Residence, Owen Sound late Friday evening April 6, 2018.  Sandy Dorsch (nee Schnarr) of Wiarton and Sauble Beach, in her 80th year.  Loved partner of the late Robert 'Bob' Pope (March 7, 2018).  She will be missed by Bob's sons Sean Pope and his wife Lisa and Brett Pope and his wife Jossee, grandchildren Jacob, Holly, Christine and Veda and great grandson Landon.  Dear sister of Elizabeth Taylor and her husband William of Goderich and Marion Bellinger of Etobicoke.  Predeceased by her husband Edward Dorsch (2001), parents Margaret (Lenz) and Maurice John Schnarr and brother Maurice Schnarr.  Sandy loved sports especially skiing and when she was in her early teens was training for the Olympics.  She and her sister Elizabeth could both run like a deer.  The funeral service will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Saturday April 14th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
