Sorry to hear the passing of Al spent sometime with him Sharing Lunch & Dinners at Gateway Haven. As my Dad Jim Wright shared a dining table together. I would sit in between them. I would bring up fresh fruit ice cream treats. Als eyes would light up in seeing the treats.He would never refuse he had a appetite that was a definite.He thought l was a nurse for the longest time. As l was there a lot in the summer seasons. When he found out l was Jim’s daughter he was shocked. As that meant l was actually related to him. As Glady was of course my Dads oldest Sister. I would make him laugh which was easy to do. I do remember him wheeling around Gateway in his Wheelchair and of course trying to see what was going on in everyone’s room. He could really get around. He figured out where Dads room was. Which was a fair distance in a Wheelchair & 95 at the time. I would show him pictures of the Family that would bring a smile to his face. I always loved the picture of Glady & him on his dresser. They were young & beautiful. I said “Al what a handsome man you were”. He seem to love that comment. Just wanted to share my experiences & time with your Dad & Grandfather. Condolences & Love Luanne Wright
