Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful woman. Peg was a good friend of my late mother and spent many times sipping tea at our farm with mom. They were “birds of a feather”. Us boys had a good time teasing both of them but they defended themselves like sisters. They are both off to another adventure and I’m sure sitting together sipping tea and talking old times. Godspeed Peg, you had a gift on earth that I’m sure will follow you.

We are sharing in your sorrow even though we are unable to be with you all.. Peg was a beautiful and wonderful supportive person. When our son Chris was terminally ill in 1989/90 Peg gave us so much loving kindness. Whilst visiting England and Peg had been staying with my sister, my brother-in-law passed away and Peg officiated at his funeral. Peg gave her all to help anyone and we are proud to say she was one of our best friends. What a blessing to have known her.

Aunty Peg.
She was technically my great Aunt (my Gran was Pat, and my dad was Harold) but because I spent so much time with (half raised by) my Gran, she was just simply my Aunty Peg. She really was Great though! :) . When I was 19, I attended college to earn my Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I developed Bronchial Pneumonia half way through a semester, and was seriously ill. Aunty Peg was visiting my Gran where I happened to be living. She related to me that she spent time as an E.C.Educator and relegated many stories of her time there. The best thing I can remember is her singing to me (she did that often joyfully!) and reading me several stories from children's books I was studying for class. I was highly fevered, homesick (I know, who could be homesick living with my Gran right?) but hearing Aunty Peg's slight leftover British Accent, and her animated style of reading, I fell asleep and felt SO much better when I woke several hours later. I never forgot that and it's been 27 years! The four Pheysey girls are all together now, likely enjoying the best prepared cup of tea ever, and basking in His glow as they enjoy a reunion. Love to my cousins and many hugs xo
