Aunt Kate, you have left your physical being and transformed to that higher vibration of being; to join those who have gone before you. We are saddened by your sudden departure, and more than a little shocked. Now we're limited to all our wonderful memories of this beautiful, loving lady who gave so much to so many. Her partner Ken, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the herd of nieces, nephews and their families all have a void in our lives that only time will heal.Thank you for being you Aunt Kate, appreciator and occasional perpetrator of a good joke and the maker of the best butter tarts on the planet, may you explore your new home with the same vigorous attitude that served you so well while you were with us.

My condolences Ken, Perry, Jim, Margie and the entire Govier family.
Katie or Grandma Kate as my sister and I knew her was an amazing lady and I thought of her as a grandmother. She always had a smile that could brighten anyone's day. I will remember grandma Kate for her ability to bring the entire family together, her amazing Christmas baking and of course her love of gardening.

I am really sorry to hear about Katie,she was a great lady.
I will always remember being at your house Jim and talking to your mom and her with that great sense of humor, giving you a hard time and then laughing with that great laugh.
When mom was in the hospital in Lions Head I would see Katie and Ken sometimes and Katie would go out of her way to talk to me,ask me how i was doing and telling me to drop in any time to their place in Owen Sound, that really ment a lot to me.
