My deepest sympathies to Sandy, Ted, Dennis and Sonya. I am deeply saddened at the loss of our wonderful friend...son and brother. Tom was quite the character and I grew up with him and Ted and Dennis at our cottage next to theirs. I have many fond memories of Tom...from going on hikes...to playing cards in the boathouse to our infamous Thanksgiving dinners held at the church in Lions Head. Tom was a very caring and generous person. He would help you with anything...many times he was over at our cottage helping my dad with some kind of fix job. Tom had a huge heart and he will be be greatly missed. I'll miss seeing him amd getting a nice big hug every time. May he rest in peace. Kate Nicholls

My heart felt condolences Sandy Dennis and Ted. Despite being 3 years younger (a big difference in K-12) Tom always made me feel welcome and had time for me. I really admired his edgy creativity and choice of music. ( Sorry about those broken 78s Sandy and Nels, I think that was me. Tom took the fall.
Life lessons at the Taylor's house greatly shaped by Tom will never be lost on me.
Full hearted best wishes at this time ...joe baradziej

A THIBAUDEAU visit whether short or spaced was always an occasion, whether it be simple or tied to a family celebration . It was never without laughter and everyone with lots to say. This is my memory. Tom was blessed to be the son of Nelson and Sandra. From this beautiful beginning Tom ❤️ you got to live your adventure and be the kind and honoured man that family and friends are remembering. May memories of this beloved guy keep you all in peace,as your days begin and end missing him. Bless your life Tom. Karen (Thibaudeau) Stanley

I first met Tom in my late teens living on Ridge road in Grimsby. Was the first time I had heard Van Halen, wow that's along time ago. Tom's mom and dad and brothers had big hearts and welcomed everyone. Tom will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences to his family .

Wow!! We were close throughout high school. We had many adventures and got into all kinds of shenanigans ( beers, girls etc.) I remember ski trips & enviro studies feild trips BarK Lake, Pinery Park. I got to drive teachers car with Tom as passenger while teachers were on bus with rest of students. Details of these trips I can not reveal...except we had loads of fun. I remember his dad and mom going on holidays, Tom somehow found the keys to the 428 Cobra Jet Torino , you know the Red one,,, never liked speed after that ...matter of fact because of Tom i still don't like speed. Anyhow that's just a few memories, very sad to hear. we had lost touch over the last 30 years. I think the last time we were together was in the late 80's. Mind you, me living on the west coast does make it harder to keep in touch. One thing I do know... friendship lasts forever ...I raise my beer to you old friend... you will be missed

Hello, Mrs. Taylor, Ted, and Dennis. My deepest condolences to you in your time of loss. I first met Tom when he was about 13 at a party of one of your neighbours. He took me on my first snowmobile ride and we ended up sideways. We travelled together to BC and crashed with extended family in Ladysmith. We were great pals in Calgary. He was a person who could spin a yarn. A memorable friend to me, and many. A good man.

Our hearts are broken with the loss of Tom. He was such a crucial part of so many of our lives. From playing board games at Christmas as children to introducing me to great novels, music and movies. I will miss our talks on how to save the world, our giggles at silly memories and the smile he could put on everybody's face. He has been a rock for Aunt Sandy, Sonya and the community of Lion's Head for as long as I can remember. He was not perfect, as are none of us, but within his flaws was woven unwavering loyalty and outstanding character. Rest sweet cousin you have earned peace.

I have nothing but fond memories of Tom throughout my life. I grew up spending summers at the cottage and Tom was always there as the kind, older mentor who had great stories to tell and a smile to share. He will be sadly missed. My condolences to the entire Taylor family on their loss.

It was a privilege to have been allowed into Thomas' life as a health care provider in the last few years of his life. He expressed gratitude, humour and was seldom 'speechless' despite his physical disability. All of which endeared him to so many. So sorry Sonya, Dennis, Ted and families for his loss. Deborah R.
