It was with sadness that we heard of the Shirley's passing. Over the years we've grown accustomed to Shirley coming in every Sunday to have her breakfast. So much so, that as she pulled into the parking lot, we would order her Ham and eggs, so when she came in and sat down, her breakfast would be presented to her with her mug of black coffee.
Shirly was a kind hearted individual and we are all better people for knowing her

Shirley has been a bright spot in my life since we moved to Tobermory 22 years ago. She told me she had never missed welcoming the Chi-Cheemaun in all those years. It was a privilege to join her there and all the other little visits we had over time. Her sweet smile, kind words and humour will be so missed. May her family know that she always spoke so lovingly about them and was proud of her children, grandchildren and all her relatives. I'm sad that she is gone and very grateful to have known Shirley.
