Obituary of Shirley Ann Clark

CLARK, Shirley Ann suddenly but peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  Shirley Clark (nee Dean) of Tobermory in her 84th year.  Beloved wife of the late Maurice 'Moe' Clark (pre 1996).  Cherished mother of Dale 'Butch' Clark and his wife Ellen, Cathie Harvey and Neil Clark.  Much loved grandmother of Elizabeth, Maurice, Alexander, Ryan (Tiffany), Tyler (Amber), Jonathan (Jamie), Nicholas, Matthew and Rachelle (Issac). Great grandmother of 13 and great-great grandmother of 6.  Dear sister of Dennis (Jane) Dean and Ian (Robyn) Dean and sister-in-law of Marion Dean, Betty Dean, Marlene (Don) Coultis, Shirley (Bob) Bowers and Al Rydall.  Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by her daughter Gayle Clark-Jones-Hopkins (2019), sons-in-law Bob Hopkins (2017) and Wayne Jones (2004), parents Velma (nee Smith) and Orlon Dean, brothers Alvin and Steve, sister Marilyn Rydall and brother-in-law Bob (Barb) Clark.  Family and friends may call at the Tobermory Community Centre on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Dunk's Bay Cemetery on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brad Inglis officiating.  All wishing to attend either the visitation or graveside service must RSVP in advance through Shirley's page on the funeral home website.  Masks must be worn and social distancing must be respected.  Interment Dunk's Bay Cemetery, Tobermory.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Tobermory United Church would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
