We have so many memories of Janet and Jean. From Sunday School classes to warm summer days at the cottage and frequent visits to our mother Kay. We also remember the close family relations we shared over the years between all our respective family members as we grew up in Wiarton and attended church and school together.
I and the entire Lymburner family extend our condolences to the Henderson family. Although it is sad she has left us, warm memories remain.

To Janet's family and friends:
I was sorry to read in our CIBC news that Janet had recently passed away. I worked with Janet at our Yonge and Gould branch in the early 80's. She was so much fun and it was my pleasure to work with Janet. I loved her smile and her laugh. We had great euchre games on our lunch hours.
My deepest sympathies. RIP Janet, you, Juanita and Elfie can have some great card games together.
In friendship - Charlotte Byrnes

To the family of Janet. Friends from so many years ago when she was my Girl Guide leader. One badge was earned by hiking to the McNeil estate in the winter time. To make it easier to get back to town decision was made to go over the Cliff. We arrived safely! Treasure your memories. Bonnie Ashcroft

My condolences, had the privilege with my cousin Tom Henderson to have a great visit with Janet in Wiarton. She educated us on that wing of the Henderson Clan, showed us many photos. I live in Banff, met many RCMP over the years & look forward to meeting my 3 cousins Grant, Robert & Brett. If you boys are half as interesting as your sister all I can say is whoa. It is with a heavy heart that I send this note of condolence to Brett and the rest of the Henderson family on the passing of Janet. Janet first came into my life through my position as Supervisor of the York Regional Police Male (now titled Community) Chorus. it was through Janet's initiative in 2010 that the chorus performed fundraising concerts on behalf of the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Wiarton on June 4th, 2011 and May 10th, 2014. It was certainly a pleasure to work with her to plan our visits to Wiarton. Janet made our entire chorus family (members and spouses) feel welcome in her community. She also represented St. Paul's with dignity and admiration. Janet will be someone that I, and those in our chorus at the time, will always have a great deal of admiration for. May she rest in peace!

I never knew Janet and Jean as an adult, but I have such fond memories of them. When I was a teenager attending the University of Toronto, they gave me rides back and forth to Toronto from Wiarton. Those rides would be the highlight of my week. Their humour and support were therapeutic for a student who was adapting to university and the big city. They were such good people. I am sure Janet will be missed by all who knew her.

While I only knew Janet from my short stays in Oliphant over the years, we had several great conversations. I loved her humour and joy of life.
Our sympathies are with her family and friends. She will be missed!
