Obituary of Shirley Collins

COLLINS, Shirley peacefully with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound Monday September 20, 2021.  Shirley Collins (nee Nelson) of Owen Sound and formerly of Wiarton in her 78th year.  Beloved wife of the late Willard Collins (pre 2014).  Cherished mother of the late Patty McLean (pre 2020) and her husband Rick McLean of Oakville, Dean of Wiarton and Marty and his wife Malinda of Owen Sound.  Much loved grandmother of 6.  Missed by brother-in-law Ken Taylor of Wiarton.  Predeceased by parents Irene (nee Bartley) and Robert Nelson and sister Barb Taylor.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at the Maplewood Cemetery, Durham on Monday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Expressions of remembrance to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation or the Wiarton Hospital (c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation) would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
