Lisa and family, I am so sorry to see that your mom has passed. Although I never met her, you always spoke with such love of her, I almost feel that I do. She will live on in you as you look just like her. I know you will miss her dearly and I hope that the many fond memories you have will give you some peace. LISA, DOUG/SUE & Families:
Sorry to hear of Aunt Verna's passing. She will be dearly missed by so many.
Such a special lady! "Jack of all Trades and Master of All of them"!
From her subtle and quiet ways to the most hardworking farm-wife-mom. Dedicated to her family.
Generous in spirit and family/community. Lover of the card games, when she always let Uncle Harvey win!
We loved her soft sense of humour, quiet smiles, and her many family history stories of the Watson family, and subsequent loving, care giving Given family, following the passing of Grandmother Elizabeth (Cutting) Watson.
Gardener extraordinaire and lover of her beautiful flowers. Born a real "green thumb".
She was an excellent cook, who passed that talent and love on to daughter Lisa to continue that gift, and she does.
One of our fondest memories was eagerly awaiting Aunt Verna's arrival at the Watson Family Picnics bearing her deliciously famous homemade butter tarts. Never had better!
We wish you all God's Blessings for strength and comfort at this time. Laugh, cry and reminisce and above all, talk of Aunt Verna.
It will be therapeutic, and comforting to all of you. Reach out to each other to share that comfort.
We will be making a Family donation in Aunt Verna's Honour to the wonderful care givers at Golden Dawn Nursing Home.
Lovingly remembered and always treasured.... Blessings to all - Cherish your many years of wonderful memories.
