We are very sad for the passing of Aunt Ruth. We will treasure the memories we have of her and Uncle Alec and heart-felt sympathy to our cousins through this difficult time. We are glad she suffers no more and is in a better place, reunited with Alec and family who have gone before.

I was very sad to hear of Aunt Ruth's passing. I will miss her upbeat good-sense-of-humour personality and the delicious food she used to bring to our family gatherings! She was a hard working and strong woman all her life who fought not just one, but two difficult battles against cancer, winning the first one, but unfortunately not the last. Her caring work for many years at Golden Dawn in Lion's Head was appreciated by many in the area. She and Uncle Alex raised 4 beautiful, ambitious and kind children who always think of others and that I am glad to have as my cousins. I would like especially to thank cousin Dennis, who living in Georgetown as he does not far from my home in Toronto, offered and gave me many rides up to the Peninsula over the years because I didn't have a car.
