Auntie Pat was such good fun and I still have the ballet books she gave me when I was young. I will always remember her visiting Nanny (Yvonne) in Barrow and listening to her stories about Canada and the bears! I loved having her visit when I lived in Ivybridge, Devon. Her and Nanny had a great time at the wedding they went to. RIP Auntie Pat, hope you and Nanny and dancing up there, lots of love Helen Robertson (nee Thompson) xxx

To Eileen and the Horner family.
Pat was always a gracious and kind person.
when I lived in Lion's Head many years ago she was a good friend. every so often I would see her in Owen Sound and we would have a little chat and catch up.
she was one of those angels here on earth that will be truly missed.
with deepest sympathy for your great loss.

Pat was such an important part of our lives, dating back to her days in London, Ontario, where she and my mother were nurses together. Many happy memories and so much laughter. On behalf of the Caven family, and in memory of Pat, we have donated to the Alzheimer's Society through their website.

I send my condolences to Pat's family out west and her friends in Lions Head.
I am very glad that I had the opportunity to spend an hour or so with Pat last summer when I was visiting in Lion's Head. I knew Pat through my friend Edith Tompkins and every summer when I drove up from London ON, to visit Edith at the cottage up on the bluff, Pat often joined us for supper. I emigrated from Yorkshire and Pat many years before me from Lancashire. Pat will be missed by many people.

Aloha to Pat’ s family and friends. I am currently in Hawaii for my sons Ironman Race on October 8 th. I will miss Pat and her wonderful stories and the humourous stories told with a twinkle in her eyes. I was honoured to have met Pat and assist her with her “things” prior to her move into the Golden Dawn. We shared many stories together during that time. Pat was passionate about Hospice care and was one of the founding members of Bruce Peninsula Hospice which is where I originally met her.
Sending love and condolences, cherish the memories.
love Sally from Hope Bay

Pat made the world a better place to live in because of her grace, her compassion and her beautiful smile. Her story telling was infectious and a pot luck would not be complete without one of her good jokes. Most importantly, Pat was a dedicated member of the Bruce Peninsula Hospice and many clients benefited from her comforting care right to the very end. My father was one of them and my family was eternally grateful to her for her dedication. Rest In Peace Pat and share all your good stories and jokes with the angels so that they can help spread your happiness. You won’t be forgotten! ❤️
