Georgie will be greatly missed by the VON SMART Exercise community, her SMART participants and peer instructors. She worked hard to get the Seniors exercise program into the Lions Head area and was always the program's biggest support. Georgie loved to celebrate the holidays by dressing up in festive colours/outfits and convincing the rest of her group to join in. We loved her energy and spirit! She brought compassion, understanding, smiles and so much love into the Lions Head Community. VON Grey Bruce sends our condolences and The SMART Exercise team sends love and hugs.

Georgetown was a great community leader. As one of the early instructors of the VON exercise program for seniors in Lions Head she also cheered us all up. She also was a great cook and as an officer of the Friendship Senior's Club of Lilns Head kept things running smoothly.
We will miss her.

We met Bob and Georgette many years ago when they stayed at our cottages "Tanglewood" on Spry Lake.
These "cottagers" quickly became very good friends. We watched Jason & Gina grow and met their family including Bob's Mom, his sister Nancy & husband Yan, Jordan & Simone....Georgette's Mamere & Papere & brother Emile & family....and Jason and Gina's many friends. She absolutely loved her family!!
Georgette was an organizer of fun! She was the "Games Lady" at our annual summer party at the lake. There was the "Water Balloons", "Shoe Toss", "Chubby Bunny" games and many more.....always a great time with tons of laughter and food!!
She was an amazing cook! Her Caesar Salad was the best!! We will miss you so much Georgette! We will continue playing those games, and making things "fun" in a style that was you. You were caring and kind and included all!!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bob, Jason, Lori & Sophie, Gina & Jodie.
Georgette was very special and left a beautiful mark on the world.

Georgette was the first person to welcome me at the Friendship Club the first time I played cards. We realized we had lived 10 houses from each other growing up. She will be missed.

Robert, Gina, Jason and family,
I have fond memories of aunt Georgette teaching me to play cribbage at Spry Lake as a child and organizing family games for my kids and family in kelowna more recently. I am thankful for her emails over the last couple years sharing memories with me of my mom and dad. Sending lots of love and strength to you all.
