Obituary of Joyce Brownridge

BROWNRIDGE, Delia Mary 'Joyce' (nee Mayhue) on December 22, 2022 in her 96th year peacefully at the Lion's Head Hospital after a brief illness.  Beloved wife of the late Norman Brownridge. Much loved mother of Robert Brownridge and his wife Sue, the late Michael Groh and the late Richard Groh.  Loving grandmother of Kim Desousa, Robert Brownridge and his wife Monica, Michelle Inamoto-D'Arcy and her husband Chris D'Arcy, Jennifer and her husband John Dobranski.  Will be sadly missed by nephews Michael Mayhue and his wife Valerie, John Mayhue and David Mayhue and his wife Vicky and niece Maryann Larrivee as well as several great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.  Daughter of the late Henry and Sybil Mayhue.  Predeceased by her brothers Daniel Mayhue and his wife Adele, Martin Mayhue and his wife Helen and her sister Barbara Drake.  A special thank you to Ellen Greig for the wonderful care and attention she gave Joyce over the past several months.

The Memorial Mass will be conducted at St. Mary's of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Hepworth on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in St Mary's Cemetery in Hepworth.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to SickKids Foundation Toronto would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
