Condolences to all Al's family and friends. I have only known Al for about 6 years now after we met as Oversize load escorts. As a beginner at the job Al was a wealth of knowledge to learn from, he was very patient at explaining things and how to do the job properly. Of course at times you had to stop and make sure his sense of humor was not leading you down the garden path LOL, gonna miss that dry wit, I referred to it as "that separate school education" shining thru. The pilot car industry will miss you Bud. RIP Al

What do you say when something like this happens so quickly to someone in your family. Ruthann, Tyson, Jill, Colin, Griffin and Maddie our hearts are filled with sorrow for you. We passed many many hours of having a few drinks and a lot of cards. In earlier years family horseshoe tournaments galore. I bet they’ll get a euchre club going as there’s a lot of players up there RIP

I can’t believe Uncle Bud is gone- always quiet, unassuming but with a dry, deadpan humour who had some of the best one liners when least expected. Bud and Doris are back together as euchre partners, making it on NOTHING and of course winning it and probably taking all the tricks! Sending all our love, peace and comfort to all of you in the coming days, weeks and months. 45 years of friendship, with lots good memories and fun times. Our time in Arizona playing Sequence, camping south of Ottawa in the tents with fun times around the fire. But Bud's stories of all the miles he travelled in his truck were always entertaining.
