As a child growing up, I have fond memories of Auntie Lor - her always cheerful smile and her great cooking among others. She was like a second mother to me and my sisters. We consider ourselves fortunate to have our lives touched by her and I will always keep these fond memories of Auntie Lor in my heart.
Our sincere condolences to Ruth, Lorna, Vicky, Victor and the rest of the family.

I attended a celebration held at the Gavino's home at West Triangle, the home of my dear sister in law's (Lorna) parents.
Children and adults alike were present including my Mama and Aunt Floy.
I remember looking at the dining table which was quite a spread. And why not? I heard that Mrs Gavino was a good cook. This was the first time I would meet her up close.
I will never forget her smile, so gracious, and her voice, very distinct, kind and friendly.
She is someone who will make you feel at ease -- at home.
Farewell Mrs Gavino, Tita, Lola Leonor.
May God smile at you when you meet Him face to face.

Hi Victor, Belinda just informed me about the passing of your mom. Auntie Lor was such a remarkable woman and she lived a full life. We shared a love for quilts and since i don’t know how to make them, she was so thoughtful to gift me with some of her masterpieces back then. She will be missed but we take comfort in the knowledge that she is and will be forever alive in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
